The Cronut!!!!

I recently came across (after a friend from NYC recommendations) the “Cronut”.  The name gives it all…as my friend rightfully describes it - the love child of a doughnut and a croissant!

You can find the Cronut offspring at Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho, New York City, or you can buy online here.

Dominique Ansel rose to fame in New York City, where he served as the Executive Pastry Chef for Restaurant Daniel (one of NYC’s finest high dining institutions) under celebrity chef Daniel Boulud.

Les madeleines
L’Arlette

I really can’t wait to go back to the city that never sleeps…
